Hotel Reservations:
Reservations should be made directly with
the hotel. Please mention the Society
for Ultrastructural Pathology to
obtain the preferred rate. The standard room rate for this meeting will
be $l55.00 plus tax, per night, single or double occupancy (add $25.00 per
night for each additional person sharing the room). For those arriving early,
a limited number of Grove Park Inn rooms are also available Saturday night
(August 1, 1998) at the conference rate.
Note:
Room reservations must be made no later than
June 22, l998. After that date the regular room prices will apply, if
any rooms are available.

Hotel Information:
The resort features an l8 hole championship
golf course designed by Donald Ross. There are six outdoor and three
indoor tennis courts, an indoor sports center, and indoor and outdoor swimming
pools. There are a wide variety of day and evening supervised programs
for children. The Resort is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of
western North Carolina.

Travel Tips:
For those flying into the Asheville Airport,
limousine service is available from Young Convention Services at (704) 251-9013,
or FAX to (704) 251-9213. The cost is $20.00 per person, one way,
or $40.00 round trip. Reservations ahead of time are required.
Rental cars are also available. Air fares can be less expensive into the
Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina Airport, and rental cars are available
but no limousine service to the Grove Park Inn is available. This
airport is approximately 92 miles via 4 lane Interstate Highway 26 from
the Grove Park Inn. For those driving, Interstate 40 is now open from
the east and the west!
