The Society for Ultrastuctural Pathology is pleased to announce that Dr. C. Antonescu, the chief resident at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York is the winner of the 1998 Pathologist-In-Training Award. Dr. Antonescu is the first author of the award winning poster that dealt with the clinical behavior, molecular biology and ultrastrucutral features of skeletal and extraskeltal chondrosarcomas. Two additional posters with resident first authors, S. Sharma and J. Gomez, were worthy of honorable mention. Each poster was exhibited at the 1998 USCAP meeting that was held on February 28 - March 6 in Boston Massachusetts.
