The Society for Ultrastuctural Pathology is pleased to announce that Dr. S. Tickoo, a resident at the Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit Michigan is the winner of the 1997 Pathologist-In-Training Award. Dr. Tickoo is the first author of the award winning poster that dealt with the ultrastrucutral features of renal cell tumors with granular cytoplasm. Two additional posters with resident first authors, J. Tan and C. A. Fischer, were worthy of honorable mention. Each poster was exhibited at the 1997 USCAP meeting that was held on March 1 - 7 in Orlando Florida.
