Breast Carcinoma: An Unusual Variant

Clinical History

Clinical Presentation
A fifty five year old female presented with the complaint of a lump in her right breast. Physical examination revealed a 5.0 x 3.0 cm , mobile, non tender tumor in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast. Axillary adenopathy was absent.

Hospital Course
Fine needle aspiration of the tumor was performed.

The patient had a radical mastectomy and postoperative chemotherapy. She is alive and well five years after her surgery.
